Together with our team in Zurich, we ensure that our clients can access our global network of experts when required.About The RoleWe are looking for a pro-active, highly motivated and result oriented Underwriter to join the D&O team within Corporate Solutions in Milan.This is an underwriting position for someone also with no specific previous experience. The core focus is on contributing to the result-oriented underwriting of D&O transactions as a (primary domestic or multinational and excess) direct insurer and to profitably grow the Italian book of business.Your main tasks will be generating new business opportunities by leveraging broker contacts, analyzing and assessing the technical insurability in respect of exposures and coverages, reviewing cover structures, wordings and proposals and preparing quotations. You will be expected to develop a thorough understanding of the client's requirements and expectations and to participate in discussions and negotiations with Brokers, existing and new Customers.
