It offers added value in terms of service, flexibility, product know-how and in-depth knowledge of its customers to fully understand their needs and offer them optimal solutions.As a Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) in Valeo Santena you will have the opportunity to work with the most powerful carmaker companies, in the electronics development working in an international and multicultural environment.These will be the main activitiesEnsure 100% conformity of components supplied on a site levelContact supplier as soon as an issue is detected with a purchased component to get the supplier to organize the containment in 24h. Apply the QRQC (Quick Response Quality Control) /SRM (Supplier Relationship Management) /PG (Product Group) Rules to opened incident.Confirm the robustness of the containment by looking for recurrence after containment has been setEnsure the 100% yearly conformity of the purchased components in accordance with the stage 7 of the AQP.pp (Advanced Quality Planning for Product & Process)(Yearly Initial Samples approval with capability evidences)Manage the PQA (Product Quality Assurance) status (to grant a remove PQA status physically and in the system)Initiate, analyze, report and follow-up incidents until the PDCA (Plan Do Check Act) closureInitiate in SRM an incident to the supplier in accordance with the SQM (Supplier Quality Manual) after preliminary investigation on the Valeo site with Valeo site quality has been performedTrack each incident detected on his or her site and ensure QR (Quick Response) reactivity and Full PDCA analysis is met in accordance with Group Standard : 24hrs / 5 days / 10 days rule .Pull daily the information from the Supplier and/or PG SQA manager and communicate during the APU (Autonomous Production Unit) and Supplier QRQCEscalade to PG SQA or Purchasing manager for any PG SQA or Purchasing Commodity engineer support required or for any roadblock regarding the incident problem solving activity or the yearly component conformity.Systematically participate to the Supplier and APU QRQC and in Plant QRQC when requiredManage, consolidate and update the following key indicators on a site level:Yearly conformity for all the purchased componentsReactivity in problem solving QR reactivity (and monitor PD – CA reactivity)Charge back follow upDesired skills and experienceMaster Degree (Mechanical Engineering/Materials Engineering preferred).Experience: 1 to 3 years in similar roles in the automotive fieldFluent Italian (mandatory) and fluent EnglishCome to Valeo and discover our benefits!
