- Draw up, in close collaboration with the area managers, all requests for offers that come to us from the market.
- Manage complex requests with the support of internal stakeholders (Technical department, Customer Service)
- Reply to customers quickly, avoiding loss of time due to inefficient communication between departments.
- Monitor offers (in CRM) and their outcomes.
- Be aligned with Corporate Division in relation to the periodic meetings of the Industry segment.
- Follow the activity with external visits.
- Generate revenue by soliciting and obtaining orders, understanding and interpreting customers’ technical requirements, providing technical information, and developing accounts from an internal sales perspective, collaborating with external sales.
- Assess competitors by analyzing and summarizing competitor information and trends and identifying sales opportunities.
- Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts, soliciting new account, building rapport, providing technical information and explanations, and preparing quotations.
- Close new accounts by answering telephone and e-mail inquiries and verifying and entering information.
- Fill orders by transferring orders to fulfillment, communicating expected delivery date, and explaining stock-outs.
- Develop accounts by checking customer’s buying history, suggesting related and new items, and explaining technical features.
- Maintain communication equipment by troubleshooting, reporting, and tracking problems.
- Maintain and improve quality results by following standards and recommending improved policies and procedures.
- 2 years’ experience in a similar commercial role.
- Technical knowledge of similar products in the piping system and industrial sector and its applications.
- Strong knowledge of the Italian market area and customers.
- Ability to negotiate orders.
