Edge, a Division of Eurosearch Consultants, on behalf of an important company operating in the manufacturing of automotive components, is searching for a:OPERATIONS QUALITY MANAGERReporting directly to the Plant Quality Manager, the Operations Quality Manager will manage a team (5 people) monitoring and controlling assembly shop processes, and evaluating and approving corrective actions, in order to produce quality metrics for managerial review.Main skills and responsibilities:· Reduce quality risks in Manufacturing by attending the initiatives for Risk Assessment and Mitigation and supporting initial release of process and components;· Validate / maintain / update Control Plans, QA Network and control Instructions along all the process phases;· Ensure Customer Claims Management in cooperation with Customer Quality;· Evaluate and update Quality related process documents after Customer Complaints and changes, assuring follow-up of the Quality procedures;· Apply Operative Quality Procedures (Approval of first produced parts, Layered audits, Operative Process and Product Audits, Control Plans, Controls Instructions) according to defined standards;· Train Manufacturing Associates, Supervisors and Team Leaders on handling / inspection / release criteria;· Perform scrap data collection, their stratification and analysis to identify root causes, supporting plant activities for scrap reduction;· Develop QA Matrix (for Plant and specific processes) to prioritize Quality issues and address proper counter-measures;· Apply the 7 QC steps to attack Quality problems caused by 4M (Machine, Method, Man, Material);· Attack repetitive Human Error with proper tools (TWTTP, HERCA, Quality Gate, Quality Network) in conjunction with WO and PD pillars to solve Quality issues caused by man;· Apply Quality Maintenance methodology and tools (X-Matrix, QM-Matrix, Q-Points, 5 Questions for Zero Defects, …) to solve Quality issues caused by machines;· Ensure periodical product requalification (according to Customer and QMS requirements)· Perform Conformity of Production (COP) verification on product characteristics submitted to type approval, regulatory and safety requirements;· Apply MSA techniques and carry out R&R analyses on measuring and monitoring systems in production.Requirements:· Degree in Electronical Engineering is preferred;· At least 4 years' experience in this position in the automotive sector;· Proficiency with MS Office suite of applications;· Good leadership skills and previous experience in personnel management;· Fluency in English;· Analytical thinking with problem-solving skills;· Excellent organizational and time management skills.Workplace: Province of TurinREF: OQM/NAEdge (a Division of Eurosearch Consultants), in charge of the recruiting process, guarantees maximum confidentiality and equal employment opportunity to both genders (L. 903/77).
